1.Q: Does the s03cg-l work upside down so i can use the horizontal level line close to the floor?
A: The Multifunction Laser Level will not self-level if it exceeds the self-level range by 4°, and the laser line will flash quickly.

2.Q: Which best if for tiling floors/wall; wall hanging; ceiling intersect/plum; maybe finishing basement, exterior house/deck?
A: We tiled our bathroom walls using a different make of level but I think this will do just as good a job. I recommend the tool BUT I also recommend that you reach out to the seller to make sure they have it IN HAND.
